Trace raises £7,366 for homelessness charity
Overnight on 10th March, 2022, the six members of Team Trace Solutions were sleeping rough, in support of the property industry charity, LandAid.
Some slept outside in their own gardens, others joined a group event in London. But all had little to protect themselves from the cold and the wind beyond cardboard boxes and sleeping bags.
It gave each individual the smallest taste of what the homeless must face every day of the year – and was both shocking and profoundly moving.
Thanks to the immense generosity of their sponsors, the team has so far raised a total of £7,366 – the ninth largest contribution of the 130 teams participating that night.
LandAid aims to help end youth homelessness, which has grown significantly during the Covid years.
So far, the SleepOut event as a whole has raised over £468,000.
