Reinventing service charges at Thirteen Group
Since 2019, the Thirteen Group has been implementing Trace’s BlueBox service charge solution for housing associations.
Over 100 Housing Association service charge specialists packed into the breakfast session at this year’s NHF Leaseholder and Tenant Service Charge Conference in London.
The session covered the practical processes of implementing a dedicated service charge system.
Chaired by consultant Dan Oehlman of Ad Esse Service Charges, the panel comprised Martin Watson of PA Housing, Rob Thompson of Thirteen Group and Roisin Vallely of Together Housing – all of whom are now using BlueBox from Trace Solutions.
Between them, these three housing associations manage 3,600 estates, 100,000 units – and have more than 60,000 customers paying service charges.
Clearly the desire to ditch spreadsheets and implement a dedicated service charge system is widespread, because there was time only to answer a fraction of the questions that were submitted by the audience.
The session opened with a video in which all the participants discussed the problems with service charge spreadsheets and the benefits that a system can bring.
A video of the full discussion can be watched here, but if you missed the event or have any questions you’d like to ask, please call us on +44 (0)20 7825 1299, email us at hello@tracesolutions.co.uk, or use the contact form below.
