Howard Group goes with Trace

Founded over 80 years ago, the Howard Group has grown to become one of the leading regional property investors and developers in the east of England.

The Group holds some £100m of commercial property and has a development pipeline worth £150m.

One reason for the company’s continuing success is its willingness to stay ahead of the latest technological advances – a principle which has led to its recent implementation of BlueBox, with its Mojo front end.

“We needed a system that could combine property management and specialist property accounting functions. But it had to be one with a clear roadmap for the future”, says Betsy Wong, the consultant who oversaw the software selection process.

“We loved Mojo and particularly its data entry tools. The workflow and purchase order system also fitted nicely with how we work, because we have so many layers of authorisation.”

BlueBox was selected despite strong competition from the incumbent system, Propman, as well as MRI’s legacy Qube product.

“The Mojo interface is really punchy!”, says Betsy.
