Trace celebrates 50 years of innovation & excellence

On 21st November, Trace Solutions marked its 50th anniversary with a spectacular event at the Banking Hall in the heart of London. Hundreds of clients, staff, and industry experts joined to celebrate this milestone for one of the UK’s leading providers of commercial property management software.

The day began with a thought-provoking presentation on AI by Tom Shrive of the RED Foundation, setting the stage for a programme that highlighted Trace’s dedication to innovation and customer service. Comedian Dominic Holland hosted the event, bringing energy and humour, while presentations from senior management explored Trace’s remarkable journey and exciting future.

Louise Dawson, Managing Director, reflected on the founders’ vision: to put customer service at the core of the business. She credited this ethos for the company’s longevity, with longstanding clients such as CBRE and Cushman & Wakefield now among the world’s largest managing agents.

Kevin Grice, Director of Software Innovation, delved into Trace’s commitment to combining rock-solid reliability with cutting-edge technology. He announced the launch of Mojo Works, an advanced platform designed to streamline property works management, and shared insights into the company’s pioneering approach to AI. Trace Solutions is collaborating with Brunel University to create AI tools that empower property managers, balancing speed and simplicity with absolute accuracy.

The event closed with a heartfelt video from founders Richard Wolfe and Colin Clarke, celebrating Trace’s transformation into a fully employee-owned company. Richard praised the “wonderfully gifted people at Trace” and expressed confidence in the company’s enduring values.

The day concluded with a lively party, complete with music, magic, and caricatures. Guests toasted Trace’s success, with Rob Parker of Cushman & Wakefield later commenting on LinkedIn: “Yesterday I had the pleasure to join the 50th birthday celebration for Trace Solutions Ltd – including celebrating Cushman & Wakefield as their longest continuous customer. The rock-solid tech reliability from Trace powers our IPM Portfolio Administration and Client Finance platform for many large occupiers. Happy Birthday Trace!”
